Wenge, a dark coloured wood, is the product of Millettia Laurentii. Other names sometimes used for Wenge include African Rosewood, Faux Ebony, Dikela, Mibotu, Bokonge, and Awong.
The wood's distinctive colour is standardised as a "Wenge" colour in many systems.
