Celebrating 40 years of promoting British Woodwork
Dansel Gallery, well known for stunning displays of contemporary British handmade woodwork by 200 UK designer makers, is celebrating 40 years of trading in Abbotsbury, Dorset this August 2019.
They are giving away TREE SEEDS with every purchase, of the Linden or Lime tree, Tilia Platyphyllos, a species particularly suited to removing polluting emissions that face planet earth today.
The owners have already planted some 2000 trees in Dorset and are hoping their customers will enjoy the challenge to continue this worthwhile pursuit.
Model House Craft and Design Centre
Model House Craft and Design Centre opened in 1989 and now welcomes around 35,000
visitors a year. Llantrisant Gallery occupies the ground floor while three further upper floors are filled with beautiful, contemporary studios for craftspeople.
The Victorian exterior certainly belies the wealth of fantastic objects you will find
inside as craftspeople create everything from paintings and jewellery to glass and sculptor.
Model House also runs a busy events programme to encourage creativity amongst its visitors. Events range
from children & 39 activities to more specialised workshops for craft and design enthusiasts.
